Cigar Sizes

Size does play a vital role in the overall flavor & enjoyment of a handmade cigar. In general, larger cigars (48 ring gauge or more) smoke smoother & longer with little or no harshness. Smaller cigars typically smoke faster, hotter & are brasher. So, when selecting a cigar, personal taste, occasion and size should all be considered.
The diameter of a cigar is measured in increments of 64ths on an inch which is termed its “ring gauge.” Therefore a 44 gauge
